Wilberto is an award-winning, visionary artist whose bold, audacious, and cutting-edge work has profoundly influenced art, fashion, theatre, and the underground scene. Often hard to categorize, his impact is ubiquitous—you’ve likely seen his work without even realizing it. Renowned as one of the most in-demand creatives in show business today, Wilberto holds the distinction of being the first creative producer/director within the hip-hop/urban music genre, which ushered him into the commercial and Latin mainstream. He is also credited with introducing bounce music and twerking into the commercial mainstream, reshaping popular culture in the process.

As both a creative pioneer and brand strategist, Wilberto has contributed to million-dollar campaigns, helping to sell millions of albums and products for artists and brands. Recently, he served as a cast member on Fuse Network’s #1 reality show, Bounce Back (starring Big Freedia), where he has been a vital part of the show for six seasons. Many of his episodes have achieved the highest ratings in the series.

Wilberto’s path was illuminated early on when legendary fashion photographer Herb Ritts test-shot him as a model at 17, marking the start of his illustrious journey in the entertainment industry. Over the years, he has appeared in over 100 national commercials, print campaigns, music videos, and TV shows, working with Hollywood’s elite, including Madonna, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Tina Turner, and Jay-Z. He has been featured in high-profile campaigns for Levi’s, L’Uomo Vogue, Banana Republic, Pepsi, and more.

MTV News once noted, “Wilberto is receiving more airplay on MTV than Nirvana!” His talent spans producing, directing, creative direction, and choreographing, having studied at the prestigious Sanford Meisner Academy and receiving a performing arts scholarship at Debbie Reynolds’ performing arts studio. Wilberto also holds degrees in business marketing and advertising, film, and theater/dance, making him a uniquely multi-faceted talent who consistently shapes the cultural landscape.
